In October of 2014, Bishop Doeme of Maiduguri, Nigeria, had a prayerful experience he will never forget. Jesus appeared to him and had a very specific message to share.
Bishop Doeme reported that, in the vision, Jesus first extended a sword toward him. As he reached out to take it, the sword turned into a rosary. It was then that Jesus told him three times, “Boko Haram is gone.”
Since that day, Bishop Doeme says he is being driven by a God-given mandate to lead others in praying the rosary until the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram disappears.
